This is the start of a new series of related posts, pertaining to the ancient, esoteric secrets of ourselves, the world, the universe, the cosmos… of reality, which has only been available to those who seek to know the truth. This is not stuff you learn in school. In fact, the religion of science actually denounces such claims, yet behind the scenes, understand and use them in their practices.
The human mind, along with the cosmos, is one of the most challenging and convoluted systems in nature. Where it may seem chaotic at a glance, with the indoctrinated eye, there exists a specific order similar to that of the universe. Natural, aesthetic patterns, governed by dualistic polarities, in which the cosmos corresponds to the microcosm, and the micro to the quantum level. In other wods, the heavens, or the universe, correlates with the human mind and human body, as well as every atom within it.
Every natural thing in the real world corresponds with the Hermetic concept of “As above, so below; so within, so without,” and grows in a cyclical, rhythmic pattern of the Golden Ratio—the Fibonacci Sequence.
The Fibonacci sequence is known as the “divine” number and is what causes natural beauty within the world, striking feelings of wonder when we see it. Our brain’s built-in software naturally recognizes and is drawn to divine proportion, or symmetry, which we sense as beauty and quality, universally attractive and pleasing to all. The universe was created with us in mind with the Golden Ratio, with our ability to recognize the timeless beauty of nature.
If unfamiliar with the Fibonacci sequence and the Golden Rectangle, Google can be your best friend in this case, but I highly recommend a cult classic movie.
In the film Pi directed by Darren Aronofsky, who also directed Black Swan and Requiem for a Dream, there is a great description with visuals of this in the first twenty minutes of the film.
In the first video, scroll to about 3:20 in the clip. Along with the Fibonacci sequence, Max explains his childhood and the awakened feeling he had after being able to see again after being blinded from staring into the sun. Hopefully you get the metaphor. The second video is equally as vital, but you can play from the beginning.

You can find this spiral in nearly every natural thing, and if not a spiral, you can find the numbers of the Fib sequence—1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 56, and so on… The next number is the result of the previous two numbers added together. For example, one human hand has five fingers, each with three parts separated by two knuckles. Literally, everywhere: the nautilus shell, petals of a flower, hurricanes, tornadoes, stems on a leaf, seed heads, pine cones, pineapples, cauliflower, dolphins, starfish, sand dollars, sea urchins, ants, honeybees and their behavior, wave crest, the pyramids (not natural but still proof that this knowledge is ancient), the human ear, reproductive dynamics, animal flight patterns (the angle at which a hawk attacks its prey), and even our own DNA strands.
